The Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Dallas Cowboys 27-20 in Monday Night Football action last night, and it was a Canadian who made significant contributions in Cincinnati’s prime time victory. Bengals running back Chase Brown of London, Ontario had 14 rushes for a team high 58 rushing yards, and had six catches for 65 receiving yards and one touchdown catch.

Brown’s touchdown catch was for 19 yards from quarterback Joe Burrow. At the time, the Bengals took a 14-10 lead. After Brown notched his touchdown catch, he jumped into the Salvation Army kettle located at the back of the end zone.

The Bengals also had strong games from Burrow, and Ja’Marr Chase, who could be considered one of the best wide receivers in the National Football League. Burrow completed 33 passes in 44 attempts for 369 passing yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Chase, meanwhile, had 14 catches for 177 receiving yards and two other major scores.

In 2024, Brown now has 166 rushes for 735 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns. He also has 44 catches for 302 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns.
