The Buffalo Bills have signed wide receiver Josh Palmer of Toronto, Ontario to a new contract on Monday according to Rogers Sportsnet. The terms of the deal are three years and $36 million.

Palmer is joining his second National Football League franchise. He played the last four seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers. In 2024, he had 39 catches for 584 receiving yards and one touchdown catch. The major score took place in a 27-10 Chargers win over the Cleveland Browns on November 3. Palmer had a 28 yard touchdown catch from Justin Herbert to open the scoring eight minutes and 11 seconds into the game.

For Palmer’s career, he has 182 catches for 2287 receiving yards and 10 touchdown catches. He also has three rushes for 16 rushing yards.

The signing of Palmer should be very popular among Bills fans. Approximately 15% of Bills season ticket holders and 22% of total spectators are Canadian.

Palmer will be replacing Mack Hollins in Buffalo in 2025. Hollins led the Bills with five touchdown catches in 2024. He also had 31 catches for 378 receiving yards. Hollins signed a two year deal worth $8.4 million with the New England Patriots.

In Buffalo, Palmer will be catching footballs from quarterback Josh Allen. The reigning NFL MVP recently signed a six-year contract extension worth $330 million.
