Heading into the fourth round on Sunday, two Canadian golfers are in contention at the United States Open and the Meijer LPGA Classic. Adam Hadwin of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan is at -2, and two strokes back of Will Zalatoris of the United States and Matt Fitzpatrick of England (-4) at the 2022 United States Open in Brookline, Massachusetts. Meanwhile, at the Meijer LPGA Classic in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Brooke Henderson of Smiths Falls, Ontario is at -15 and three strokes back of Nelly Korda of the United States, who is at -18.

Hadwin, who shot a score of even par on Saturday in round three of the third major of the year, is tied for fourth place with Americans Scottie Scheffler and Keegan Bradley. Scheffler and Bradley are major champions. Scheffler won the 2022 Masters and Bradley won the 2011 PGA Championship. Three more golfers are at -1. Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland, the two-time PGA Championship winner, and former United States Open and British Open champion, is tied with Americans Sam Burns and Joel Dahmen.

Henderson, who won the 2016 Women’s PGA Championship, is looking for wins in back-to-back weeks on the LPGA Tour. She is in third place at the moment. Besides Korda, who won the 2021 Women’s PGA Championship, the only other golfer at the moment who is in contention is major champion Jennifer Kupcho of the United States, who is in second place at -17. Kupcho won the 2022 Chevron Championship in Rancho Mirage, California.
