The Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association are one win away from reaching the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history. On Thursday night at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Kawhi Leonard scored 35 points in a 105-99 win over the Milwaukee Bucks to take a three games to two lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Leonard was one of four Raptors to reach double digits in scoring. Fred VanVleet scored 21 points off the bench, Kyle Lowry scored 17 points and Pascal Siakam scored 14 points. Siakam led the Raptors with 13 rebounds for the double double and Leonard led the Raptors with nine assists.

It was a marvelous game for VanVleet, who had seven three-pointers against the Bucks. He was also an excellent +28 while on the floor. This could be the best performance a backup point guard has ever had in a single game in Raptors franchise history.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors await the winner of the Raptors and Bucks. Remember if the Raptors do get by the Bucks in either game six at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario on Saturday or in Milwaukee on Monday, they will have home court advantage against the Warriors. During the regular season, the Raptors had a record of 58 wins and 24 losses, while the Warriors were at 57 wins and 25 losses.
