
Andrew Wiggins of Toronto, Ontario had the best playoff game of his National Basketball Association career on Sunday. In a 109-100 Golden State Warriors win over the Dallas Mavericks, Wiggins had a career-high 27 playoff points, and tied a career-high with 11 playoff rebounds. With the win, the Warriors lead the Dallas Mavericks three games to none in the Western Conference Final.
Wiggins made 11 of 20 field goals, one of five three-point shots, and four of five free throws. He also had six offensive rebounds, five defensive rebounds, three assists and was a +22. Wiggins had a career playoff-high in field goals (11). He also tied a career playoff-high in free throws, offensive rebounds and rebounds. Wiggins also had four three throws in game one of the 2022 Western Conference Semifinals, a 117-116 Warriors win over the Memphis Grizzlies on May 1. He had six offensive rebounds and 11 rebounds in the Warriors’ 110-96 win over the Grizzlies in game six of the Western Conference Semifinals on May 13.
Wiggins also had two double-doubles against the Warriors series win against the Grizzlies. In addition to 18 points and 11 rebounds in their game six win, Wiggins had 17 points and 10 rebounds in a game four Warriors win over the Grizzlies on May 9. In that contest, the Warriors beat the Grizzlies 101-98. The three doubles-doubles Wiggins has had in the 2022 NBA postseason are his first three of his career.
