We all know that Kawhi Leonard has Toronto’s biggest shot in franchise history. He delivered it in the Raptors’ 92-90 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at the buzzer in game seven of the 2019 Eastern Conference semifinals. The ball bounced numerous times around the rim before finally making its way through the basket.

However on Thursday night, one could make the argument that OG Anunoby of London, England delivered Toronto’s second-biggest shot ever. With five tenths of a second left, and the Raptors trailing the Boston Celtics 103-101, the Raptors had possession of the basketball. Then, Kyle Lowry delivered a remarkable pass to Anunoby, who successfully made a three-point shot. The Raptors won 104-103, and in the process kept their season alive.

Would they have been eliminated from the Orlando bubble if they lost Thursday? The answer is no.  But one must realize that no team has ever come back from a three games to none deficit in the NBA and won the series. The Raptors still trail the Celtics two games to one with game four on Saturday.

In the game three win, Lowry led the Raptors with 31 points. Four other Raptors reached double digits in scoring as Fred VanVleet had 25 points, Pascal Siakam had 16 points, Anunoby had 12 points and Marc Gasol had 10 points. Anunoby also had a double double as he added 10 rebounds.
