
Vancouver Goldeneyes forward Jenn Gardiner of Surrey, British Columbia was named the Professional Women’s Hockey League First Star of the Week from April 13-19, 2026. In two games, Gardiner had four goals and one assist for five points.
Gardiner made PWHL history on Saturday in a 6-5 Goldeneyes win over the Seattle Torrent. She became the first PWHL player ever to score four goals in a single game. Gardiner also had an assist on a goal by Hannah Miller in a 4-1 Goldeneyes win over the Torrent at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia on Tuesday. Also in the two games, Gardiner was a +4 with seven shots and one game-winning goal. The game-winner was at the 52 second mark of overtime in the Goldeneyes win over the Torrent on Saturday. Gardiner scored from Miller and defenseman Sophie Jaques of Toronto, Ontario.
For the season, Gardiner has eight goals and eight assists for 16 points in 28 games. She has four penalty minutes, one faceoff win, one shorthanded goal, two game-winning goals, six blocked shots and 54 shots.
Gardiner’s shorthanded goal came in a 4-0 Goldeneyes win over the New York Sirens on December 6. Canadian Olympic gold medalist and defenseman Claire Thompson of Toronto, Ontario and Gabby Rosenthal had the assists. The Goldeneyes went up 3-0 with two minutes and 21 seconds left in the first period. Gardiner’s first game-winning goal came in a 2-1 Goldeneyes win over the Ottawa Charge on December 16. Gardiner put the Goldeneyes up 2-0 with an unassisted goal at 3:36 of the second period. Thompson’s gold medal came at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing.
