
The 2026 National Lacrosse League playoffs start this weekend. Four Canadian teams have qualified for the NLL playoffs. They are the Vancouver Warriors, Saskatchewan Rush, Toronto Rock and Halifax Thunderbirds.
Interestingly, in the NLL quarterfinal matchups, there will be two all-Canadian games as the Warriors face the Thunderbirds and the Rush will play the Rock. Vancouver had the best regular season record at 13 wins and five losses. They will play the eighth seeded Thunderbirds, who had a record of eight wins and 10 losses. Saskatchewan was in a second place tie with the Colorado Mammoth and Georgia Swarm at 12 wins and six losses and get the number three seed. The Rock were in a fifth place tie with the Buffalo Bandits and get the sixth seed.
The game between Vancouver and Halifax will be on Friday at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia at 8pm MT. The game between Saskatchewan and Toronto will be on Saturday in SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at 7pm MT.
Warriors forward Keegan Bal of Coquitlam, British Columbia led the NLL this season with 124 regular season points. He had 45 goals and 79 assists. Calgary Roughnecks forward Tanner Cook of Courtice, Ontario led the NLL with 49 regular season goals and Rochester Knighthawks forward Ryan Lanchbury of Burlington, Ontario led the NLL with 82 regular season assists.
