Who made Team Canada for the 2025 Four Nations Faceoff?

The four Four Nations Faceoff rosters for the 2025 prestigious international ice hockey tournament in Montreal, Quebec and Boston, Massachusetts from February 12-20 were announced on Wednesday. Here are the 23 players who made Team Canada.

The 13 forwards include one Canadian Olympic gold medalist. That is Pittsburgh Penguins centre Sidney Crosby of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, who won the gold medal at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. Crosby is joined by Florida Panthers centre Sam Bennett of Holland Landing, Ontario, Tampa Bay Lightning centre Anthony Cirelli of Woodbridge, Ontario, Lightning left winger Brandon Hagel of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Carolina Hurricanes centre Seth Jarvis of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Philadelphia Flyers right winger Travis Konecny of London, Ontario, Colorado Avalanche centre Nathan MacKinnon of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Boston Bruins left winger Brad Marchand of Halifax, Toronto Maple Leafs right winger Mitch Marner of Markham, Ontario, Edmonton Oilers centre Connor McDavid of Richmond Hill, Ontario, Lightning centre Brayden Point of Calgary, Alberta, Panthers centre Sam Reinhart of North Vancouver, British Columbia, and Vegas Golden Knights right winger Mark Stone of Winnipeg.

The seven defensemen include one Canadian Olympic gold medalist. That is Alex Pietrangelo of the Golden Knights, as the native of King City, Ontario won gold at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. The other six are Calgary native Cale Makar who plays for the Avalanche, Calgary native Josh Morrissey who plays for the Winnipeg Jets, St. Albert, Alberta’s Colton Parayko who plays for the St. Louis Blues, Elkhorn, Manitoba’s Travis Sanheim, who plays for the Philadelphia Flyers, Aldergrove, British Columbia’s Shea Theodore, who plays for the Golden Knights, and Abbotsford, British Columbia’s Devon Toews, who plays for the Avalanche. The three Canadian goalies are Jordan Binnington of the St. Louis Blues, who is from Richmond Hill, Adin Hill of the Golden Knights, who is from Comox, British Columbia, and Samuel Montembeault of the Montreal Canadiens, who is from Becancour, Quebec.
