Canadian Olympic gold medalist Marie-Philip Poulin of Beauceville, Quebec won the 2022 Bobbie Rosenfeld Award on Wednesday according to Donna Spencer of the Canadian Press. Poulin won a gold medal for Canada in women’s hockey at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing and the gold medal for Canada in women’s hockey at the 2022 Women’s World Hockey Championship in Herning, Denmark. Wickenheiser won gold at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin, at the 2010 Olympic Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, and the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. In addition to winning gold at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing, Poulin teamed up with Wickenheiser to win gold at the 2010 Olympic Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, and the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. At the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan/Cortina d’Ampezzo, Poulin will be trying to match Wickenheiser’s four Olympic gold medals.
