Chicago Blackhawks center Jason Dickinson of Georgetown, Ontario notched his first career National Hockey League hat trick on Friday. He accomplished the feat in a 4-3 Blackhawks overtime win over the Toronto Maple Leafs at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Dickinson tied the game at one at 8:03 of the first period from Joey Anderson. He then scored an unassisted goal at 12:27 of the second period to pull the Blackhawks within one goal. At the time, the Blackhawks still trailed the Maple Leafs 3-2. Then at the 15 second mark of the third period, Dickinson once again scored a shorthanded marker to tie the game at three. Kevin Korchinski of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan then scored the game-winning goal for the Blackhawks with 30 seconds left in the first overtime period from Connor Bedard of North Vancouver, British Columbia and Philipp Kurashev. This was Korchinski’s second career NHL goal and first game-winning goal.
