The Cincinnati Bengals defeated the New York Giants 17-7 on Sunday night from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and a major reason why was because of the running ability of Bengals running back Chase Brown of London, Ontario. Brown had 10 rushes for 53 rushing yards and one touchdown. He also had two catches for 11 receiving yards. Brown’s touchdown came with one minute and 52 seconds left in the fourth quarter. The touchdown was key as prior to the major score, the Bengals were only leading the Giants by a field goal.

On the season, Brown has 51 rushes for 283 rushing yards and three touchdowns, along with 12 catches for 50 receiving yards and another major score in six games. In Brown’s career, he has 95 rushes for 462 rushing yards and three touchdowns, along with 26 catches for 206 receiving yards and two touchdowns. It is interesting that Brown had only one touchdown in 12 games last season, and now this season has four touchdowns in six games.

With the win, the Bengals improved to a record of two wins and four losses. Their only other win this season came on September 29 in a 34-24 Bengals win over the Carolina Panthers. In that game, Brown had two rushing touchdowns for one and three yards.
