Week 14 of the 2026 Canadian Football League regular season concluded on Labour Day. Here are three Canadians who scored touchdowns for winning teams.
On Friday, running back Liam Talbot of London, Ontario had a six-yard touchdown run at 8:12 of the third quarter in a 37-30 Montreal Alouettes win over the British Columbia Lions at Percival Molson Stadium in Montreal, Quebec. Talbot had five rushes for 19 rushing yards in the game. For the season, he has six rushes for 23 rushing yards and one touchdown. With the win, the Alouettes improved to a record of 10 wins and two losses, and lead the East Division.
On Monday, running back Isaiah Smith of Burlington, Ontario had a two-yard touchdown run at 4:41 of the third quarter in a 37-22 Toronto Argonauts win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Hamilton Stadium in Hamilton, Ontario. Smith’s touchdown put the Argonauts up 27-7 at the time. Smith finished the game with 13 rushes for 36 rushing yards. This season, Smith has 61 rushes for 268 rushing yards and one touchdown.
Also on Monday, wide receiver Kaion Julien-Grant of Toronto, Ontario had a six-yard touchdown catch from Cody Fajardo in a 38-28 Edmonton Elks win over the Calgary Stampeders at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, Alberta. Julien-Grant finished the game with four catches for 42 receiving yards. This season, Julien-Grant has 31 catches for 408 receiving yards and four touchdowns. With the win, the Elks lead the West Division at nine wins and three losses.
