
Team Canada continues to play very well at the 2025 World Men’s Curling Championships in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. On Wednesday, Canada came through with an 8-3 win over Norway and an 8-3 Canada win over the Czechia.
In Canada’s win over Norway, Canada once again had a significant fourth end as they scored thrice. In the fourth end during the tournament to date, Canada has outscored their opponent 12-2. In the fourth end on Wednesday morning, Jacobs made a draw after Norwegian skip Magnus Ramsfjell missed a double takeout attempt.
In Canada’s win over the Czechia, Jacobs got off to a phenomenal start as the Canadian team stole two points in the first end. With his final stone, Jacobs delivered a fantastic draw to the button. Canada had two stones in the four foot that Czech skip Lukas Klima was unable to remove in his raise attempt.
With the wins, Canada is all alone in first place at seven wins and one loss. There is a three-way tie for second place. Switzerland, Scotland and China are tied with a record of six wins and two losses. Switzerland gets the second spot at the moment as they have beaten Scotland and China. Canada plays China and Switzerland on Thursday.
