Adam Hadwin of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan is still in contention at the 2022 United States Open in Brookline, Massachusetts. He may no longer be leading as he was after round one, but is still in the hunt, and three strokes back of the leaders, Collin Morikawa and Joel Dahmen of the United States. Morikawa, who won the 2020 PGA Championship and 2021 British Open, are tied for the lead at -5, while Hadwin is in 13th place at -2.
On Friday in round two, Hadwin had four bogeys and zero birdies in his first 16 holes to return to even par. However birdies on his final two holes helped Hadwin return to red numbers. Hadwin also was able to salvage par on the 10th hole, to begin his round and remain at four under par.
There are five golfers at -4. There you can find 2011 United States Open champion, 2012 and 2014 PGA Championship winner and 2014 British Open champion Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland, 2021 United States Open champion John Rahm of Spain, and Americans Hayden Buckley, Aaron Wise and Beau Hossler.
