Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown of London, Ontario recorded his 14th National Football League touchdown on Sunday. He accomplished the feat in a 33-27 Bengals win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Brown’s rushing touchdown was for five yards. He put the Bengals up 21-3 with five minutes and 32 seconds left in the first half. Brown finished the game with 16 rushes for 56 rushing yards, and five catches for 22 receiving yards.
Brown was the Bengals’ top running back. However, his five catches co-led the Bengals too. The other Bengals player with five receptions was tight end Mike Gesicki.
All 14 of Brown’s rushing touchdowns in his career have come with the Bengals. He also has 10 touchdown catches.
Brown now has 521 rushes for 2244 rushing yards in 46 games with Cincinnati. He also has 142 catches for 975 receiving yards. Brown’s ability to catch the football on a regular basis makes him a key player in Cincinnati’s offensive attack.
The Bengals were one of three teams in the AFC North to get a win on Sunday. They were joined by the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore defeated the Indianapolis Colts 41-23, and Pittsburgh defeated the Atlanta Falcons 20-13. Cincinnati next plays in Houston on Sunday.
