In 27 at bats, Guerrero Jr. scored seven runs, and had 11 hits, one double, four walks and one time hit by a pitch. He also had an on base percentage of .500 and a slugging percentage of .778. Another first baseman was honoured in the senior circuit. St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt was named the National League Player of the Week.
In 66 games this season, Gurerrero is batting .265 with 17 home runs and 41 runs batted in.
