Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is having a breakout NBA season. On Monday in a 123-121 Thunder win over the Portland Trail Blazers, the Toronto native made his second game-winning shot of the year. This one was a 14-foot jump shot with no time left on the clock.

Gilgeous-Alexander also delivered magic earlier this season by making the game-winning shot in a 121-120 Thunder win over the Washington Wizards on November 16. He also made a game-leading shot for the Thunder with one second left in the first overtime in a 136-132 double overtime loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on November 9.

So far this season, Gilgeous-Alexander leads the NBA with 79 clutch points. According to Sports Illustrated, a player records a clutch point if a basket is made with five minutes or less and the score is quite close. A clutch point cannot occur if one team in the game has a lead by more than five points.

In Monday’s game, Gilgeous-Alexander had 35 points, six assists, two blocks and one steal. He made 10 of 24 field goals, one three-point attempt, and all 14 free throws.

Gilgeous-Alexander now leads the NBA with a .933 free throw percentage. He also has 31.3 points per game, 5.8 assists per game, 4.6 rebounds per game, 1.7 steals per game, a field goal percentage of .501, and a three-point percentage of .345.
