Nic Demski of Winnipeg, Manitoba led the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in receiving in their week 10 win over the British Columbia Lions on Thursday night from Investors Group Field in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Demski caught three passes for a team high 63 yards in a 32-16 Winnipeg victory.

Demski caught a five yard pass from Blue Bombers quarterback Matt Nichols in the end zone to open the scoring. The major score put Winnipeg up 6-0 at 4:31 of the first quarter. It should be noted that Nichols has been placed on the six game injury reserve as he injured his arm in the fourth quarter. That means Chris Streveler will be the starting quarterback for the foreseeable future as Nichols recovers.

Demski was not the only Canadian on the Blue Bombers to have a notable game. That is because running back Andrew Harris of Winnipeg, Manitoba led the Blue Bombers in rushing yards with 73.

Winnipeg currently leads the West Division with a record of seven wins and two losses for 14 points. They are also tied in the CFL with 14 points as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats also have a record of seven wins and two losses. The Blue Bombers currently lead the Edmonton Eskimos by two points in the West Division. Winnipeg will play in Edmonton on Friday night.
