Ottawa Redblacks fullback Marco Dubois of Montreal, Quebec was the only Canadian to record a touchdown for a winning team in week four of the Canadian Football League. He accomplished the feat on Friday in a 26-7 Redblacks win over the Edmonton Elks on Friday from Toronto Dominion Place Stadium in Ottawa, Ontario.
He had a 54-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Tyrie Adams with four minutes and five seconds left in the first quarter which gave the Redblacks a 10-0 lead at the time. It was an impressive touchdown for Dubois as he ran down the sidelines and into the end zone, but did not step out of bounds Dubois finished the game
This was Dubois’s first CFL touchdown. In 69 career games, he now has 15 catches for 202 receiving yards. Dubois also has one rush for one yard in her career, which he accomplished in the 2021 CFL season.
This was Ottawa’s first win of the 2023 CFL regular season. They defeated an Elks team that has completely struggled out of the gate, as they drop to zero wins and four losses.
After four weeks, the Toronto Argonauts are the only undefeated team at three wins and zero losses. Toronto defeated the British Columbia Lions 45-24 to close out week four.
