Corey Conners in contention at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational

Canada’s Corey Conners of Listowell. Ontario is in contention at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational from Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Lodge and Club in Orlando, Florida. Conners is currently at -8, in third place, and two strokes off the lead of American Collin Morikawa of Los Angeles, California, the 2020 PGA Championship winner, and 2021 British Open champion. Morikawa is at -10.

Conners had a first round score of three-under-par 69 on Thursday. He had six birdies and three bogeys. Conners birdied the second, fifth, ninth, 10th, 16th and 18th holes, and bogeyed the third, 12th and 14th holes.

In the second round, Conners had a score of two-under-par 70 on Friday to move from -3 to -5.  Conners had three birdies and one bogey. He birdied the 10th, 14th, and 16th holes, and bogeyed the 17th hole.

In the third round, Conners had a score of three-under-par 69 on Saturday to move from -5 to -8. Conners had five birdies and two bogeys. He birdied the fourth, sixth, 10th, 11th, and 16th holes, and bogeyed the 13th and 18th holes.

There are two other golfers in contention heading into the final round. At -9 and in second place is American Russell Henley, and in fourth place and at -7 is Australia’s Jason Day, the 2015 PGA Championship winner.
