After trailing China 3-2 after four ends, Canada outscored China 7-1 in the second half, as the Canadians scored three points each in the fifth and eighth ends.

Canada will play Scotland’s Jennifer Dodds and Bruce Mouat in their only game on Thursday. This will be a battle for second place in the group as Italy has already clinched first. Australia, has clinched first in Group B. In this group, there is a five-way tie for second at five wins and three losses. There you have the United States, Japan, Estonia, New Zealand and Norway.
