Team Canada has qualified for the final of the 2025 Four Nations Faceoff in Boston, Massachusetts against the United States on Thursday. Canada reached the final by beating Finland 5-3 in the final game of the round robin from Toronto Dominion Garden on Monday.

Four Canadians had a multi-point game. Florida Panthers right winger Sam Reinhart of North Vancouver, British Columbia led Team Canada in scoring with three points as he had three assists. Meanwhile, Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon of Halifax, Nova Scotia had two goals, and Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid of Richmond Hill, Ontario and Canadian Olympic gold medalist and Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia had one goal and one assist for two points each. The other Canadian goal scorer was Tampa Bay Lightning centre Brayden Point of Calgary, Alberta.

Canada finished in second place in the group with one regulation win, one win in extra time, and one regulation loss for five points. Canada’s loss came to the United States on Saturday in Montreal by a score of 3-1.

If there was one concern for Team Canada, it remains the consistency of St. Louis Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington of Richmond Hill. Binnington had a rough third period, and gave up three goals in the last seven minutes on Monday. Team Canada would get more consistent goaltending with Adin Hill of Comox, British Columbia.
