Brad Marchand leads Bruins to game one win over the Lightning

One of the most intriguing second round playoff matches in the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs is in the Toronto bubble where the Boston Bruins are playing the Tampa Bay Lightning. In the regular season, the Bruins and Lightning had the two best records in the Eastern Conference, as the Bruins had 100 points, and the Lightning had 92 points.

In game one of the best out of seven series on Sunday, Brad Marchand of Halifax, Nova Scotia led the way as he had one goal and one assist for two points in a 3-2 Boston victory. The Bruins number one line of Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, and David Pastrnak was clicking, as Pastrnak also had a goal and an assist, while Bergeron of Ancienne-Lorette, Quebec had an assist and led the Bruins with five shots on goal.

Meanwhile in the Edmonton bubble, the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Vancouver Canucks in the opening game of their series by a convincing score of 5-0. Three Canadians had a multi-point game for Vegas as Reilly Smith of Toronto, Ontario and Mark Stone of Winnipeg, Manitoba had one goal and one assist each. Shea Theodore of Langley, British Columbia had two assists. Jonathan Marchessault of Cap-Rouge, Quebec also scored for Vegas.
