In the saddle bronc, Ben Andersen of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta had the highest score of 87 points on the bronc York Alabama, and in the bareback, Orin Larsen of Inglis. Manitoba had the highest score of 88 points on Barcelona City.
Andersen actually tied with Kade Bruno of Challis, Idaho, who was on the bronc Uvid Bubbles. Both Andersen and Bruno won $6250 each. In the aggregate standings, Andersen moved into fourth place with $6250. Logan Hay of Wildwood, Alberta is the aggregate saddle bronc leader with $10,250. Hay finished in fourth place on Friday with 84.5 points after having the most points on Thursday with 89.5 points.
By winning on Friday, Larsen earned $7000. In second place in the bareback was Jesse Pope of Waverly, Kansas, who had 87.5 points and won $5500. Kody Lamb of Sherwood Park, Alberta finished in third place with 86 points, and won $4500. In the bareback aggregate standings, Larsen is in second place with $8500. Dean Thompson of Altamont, Utah is the leader with $10,250.
In the steer wrestling, Ty Miller of Wainwright, Alberta had the second fastest time of four seconds. Tyler Pearson of Atoka, Oklahoma had the fastest time of 3.7 seconds. Miller is in fourth place in the Pool C aggregate standings with $5500. Trisyn Kalawaia of Hilo, Hawaii is the aggregate leader with $10,750.
In the Rangeland Derby, Chanse Vigen of Calgary, Alberta had the fastest time on Friday with a time of 1.10.81. Vigen also is the aggregate leader at 9:34.58.
