Ben Andersen and Caitlyn Dahm in second place in Pool B at Calgary Stampede

Ben Andersen of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta and Caitlyn Dahm of Duffield, Alberta are both in second place in Pool B action at the 2026 Calgary Stampede. On Monday, Andersen had the second best score in the bareback competition, and Dahm had the second fastest time in the women’s breakaway roping event.

Andersen had a score of 86 points and was tied with Brody Wells of Powell, Wyoming for the second most saddle bronc points. Coleman Shallbetter of Gunnison, Colorado had the highest score of 87.5 points. Shallbetter won $7000, and Wells and Andersen won $5000 each.

Dahm had a time of 3.6 seconds and was all alone in second place. Cheyanne McCartney of Kingston, Oklahoma had the fastest time of 3.1 seconds. Josie Conner of Iowa, Louisiana had a time of 3.9 seconds and was in third place. Dahm won $5500. McCartney won $7000 and Conner won $4500.

In the chuckwagon racing, Jamie Laboucane of St. Walburg, Saskatchewan had the fastest time of 1:10.74. This was the second day of the 2026 Calgary Stampede that Laboucane had the fastest time. On Friday, Laboucane, who is sponsored by the Panorama Advisory Group, had a leading time of 1:10.98. Laboucane is now the aggregate leader too. His overall time is 4:50.42, which is 0.54 seconds faster than Rae Croteau Jr. of Strathmore, Alberta, who has a time of 4:50.96.
