Loutitt reached the podium by 15.9 points over Selina Freitag of Germany, who finished in fourth place with 224.4 points.

This was Loutitt’s first ever World Cup medal. The two other Canadians to win a World Cup ski jumping event were Horst Bulau of Ottawa, Ontario (won 13 times), and Steve Collins of Thunder Bay, Ontario, who won a gold medal in Lahti, Finland on March 9, 1980.

In the World Cup women’s ski jumping standings, Loutitt is in 12th place with 294 points. Pinkelnig leads with 916 points. The gold medal for Loutitt will give her confidence as she prepares for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan/Cortina d’Ampezzo.
