According to the Canadian Press on Saturday, Toronto, Ontario will host the 2024 National Hockey League All-Star Game. The game will be played on February 3, 2024 at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, home of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

This will be the ninth time Toronto will have hosted the NHL All-Star Game. They previously hosted in 1947, 1949, 1951, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1968, and 2000. The first seven NHL All-Star Games played in Toronto were played at Maple Leaf Gardens, and the eighth was at the Air Canada Centre. The games played in 1947, 1949, 1962, 1963, 1964, and 1968 featured the Toronto Maple Leafs as the defending Stanley Cup champions against a group of NHL All-Stars from the other National Hockey League teams. The Maple Leafs were victorious 4-1 in 1962, and 4-3 in 1968. The 1962 NHL All-Star Game Most Valuable Player was Maple Leafs left winger Eddie Shack of Sudbury, Ontario, and the 1968 NHL All-Star Game Most Valuable Player was Maple Leafs goaltender Bruce Gamble of Port Arthur, Ontario. Gamble was the first goaltender to be the NHL All-Star Game MVP.

The 1951 NHL All-Star Game featured the best NHL All-Stars from the four American teams (First Team All-Stars) against the best NHL All-Stars from the two Canadian teams (Second Team All-Stars). The two Canadian teams were the Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens. In 2020, the format featured the best players from North America against the best players from the rest of the world.

The 2023 NHL All-Star Game was played in Sunrise, Florida on Saturday. The Atlantic Division beat the Central Division 7-5 in the final of a mini-tournament.
