The Tempo are the fifth team in the WNBA that Alexander has played for. She has also played for the San Antonio Silver Stars for five seasons from 2013 to 2017, and one season each with the Indiana Fever (2018), Chicago Sky (2019), and Minnesota Lynx (2020).

Alexander’s best WNBA game came on August 1, 2017. She had 19 points in a 93-81 Silver Stars win over the New York Liberty. Since 2020, Alexander has played professionally in Belgium, France and Spain. She was the FIBA Europe SuperCup women most valuable player in 2022, the Coupe de France most valuable player in 2024, and the Liga Femenina Finals most valuable player in 2025.
