
The 2024 Spengler Cup begins on Thursday from Davos, Switzerland. The Canadians will play HC Davos in their first game on Boxing Day. Canada reached the semifinals last year before losing to HC Dynamo Pardubice 5-3.

They are left winger Joe Carroll of Carp, Ontario (plays for the Wichita Thunder of the ECHL), right winger Brandon Coe of Ajax, Ontario (currently plays for the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League), centre Philip-Michael Devos of Sorel-Tracy, Quebec and right winger Johnathan Hazen of Val-Belair, Quebec (currently play for Ajoie HC in Switzerland), and centre Manix Gandry of Gatineau, Quebec (currently plays for Ambri-Piotta in Switzerland).
There are four defensemen with NHL experience. They are Madison Bowey of Winnipeg, Manitoba (two seasons each with the Washington Capitals and Detroit Red Wings and one season each with the Vancouver Canucks and Chicago Blackhawks), Mac Hollowell of Niagara Falls, Ontario (one season with the Toronto Maple Leafs), Matt Irwin of Victoria, British Columbia (four seasons with the Nashville Predators, three seasons with the San Jose Sharks, two seasons with the Washington Capitals, and one season with the Boston Bruins, Anaheim Ducks and Buffalo Sabres), and Colton White of London, Ontario (four seasons with the New Jersey Devils and one season with the Anaheim Ducks).
