The Toronto Raptors beat the Orlando Magic 109-93 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario on Tuesday. It was only Toronto’s 11th win of the season (to go along with 32 losses). However, this was their biggest comeback win of the season, because at one point Toronto was down by 21 points before coming back to get the win.

The Raptors got off to a lousy start. With three minutes and 40 seconds left in the first quarter, the Magic were up 32-11. Ironically, 11-32 is the Raptors current record. The rest of the way, the Raptors outscored the Magic 98-61 en route to the upset win by 16 points.

The Raptors were led by Canadian shooting guard RJ Barrett of Toronto, Ontario, who had 19 points. Meanwhile, Raptors power forward Scottie Barnes and shooting guard Gradey Dick had 17 points each, point guard Bruce Brown had 15 points, and Canadian Kelly Olynyk of Toronto, had 12 points. It was quite frankly a sensational game for Olynyk, who was a +39 off the bench. Barnes had the double-double as he had 11 rebounds.

Yes, the Magic have had their fair share of injuries this season, but you could make the argument that the second half against Orlando, was Toronto’s best stretch of basketball in 2024-25. They outscored the Magic 64-43.
