
The Toronto Raptors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 93-89 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Raptors and Cavaliers are tied at two games apiece in their best out of seven series.
Five Raptors reached double figures in points. Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram had 23 points each, RJ Barrett of Toronto, Ontario had 18 points, Collin Murray-Boyles had 15 points and Jakob Poeltl had 10 points. It was an impressive double-double for Murray-Boyles as he had 10 rebounds while coming off the bench.
This was considered a very low scoring first half. The Raptors had the lead after 24 minutes by a score of 38-36.
The Raptors did an excellent job in closing out the final three quarters. In the final 100 seconds of the first half, the Raptors went on a 10-0 run. Ingram made two three-point shots from 25 feet and made two free throws. In the third quarter, the Raptors outscored the Cavaliers 12-2 in the final three minutes and 36 seconds. Then to close out the game, the Raptors outscored the Cavaliers 17-5 in the final four minutes and 30 seconds.
Game five shifts to Cleveland on Wednesday night. The Raptors win guarantees a sixth game in the series in Toronto on Friday night.
