Nick Taylor of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Corey Conners of Listowel, Ontario won their second foursome match together at the 2026 Presidents Cup in Medinah, Illinois. On Saturday, Taylor and Conners defeated the American team of Russell Henley and Jacob Bridgeman 1up.
The Canadians delivered an upset if you take a look at the Official World Golf Rankings. Conners is ranked 55th in the world, and Taylor is ranked 85th. Henley is ranked sixth in the world and Bridgeman is ranked 20th in the world.
Bridgeman and Henley had the lead after the first 10 holes as they were three holes up with eight holes to go. Taylor and Conners were the dominant golfers over the last two hours, as they won the 11th, 12th, 14th and 15th holes. In all, Taylor and Conners won six holes during the round as they also won the fourth and ninth holes.
It was the second straight day that Taylor and Conners delivered a foursome upset. On Friday, Taylor and Conners beat Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns 1up.
With the win by Taylor and Conners on Saturday, the International Team leads the United States 10.5 to 7.5. On Sunday, Taylor faces Henley and Conners faces Justin Thomas in singles action.
