Orlando City goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau of Greenfield Park, Quebec and Toronto FC defender Richie Laryea of Toronto, Ontario have been named to the 2026 Major League Soccer All-Star Game according to Gemma Karstens-Smith of the Canadian Press on Wednesday. This is the the first time in the careers of Crepeau and Laryea that they have been named MLS All-Stars.

Crepeau has a save percentage of 62.4% with Orlando City this season. He also has an accurate pass percentage of 74% and a long ball percentage of 39.7%. The selection of Crepeau may ben a little bit of a surprise to some because Crepeau has only won three games with Orlando City in 2026. Crepeau helped Orlando City defeat Charlotte FC 4-1 on April 22, Inter Miami CF 4-3 on May 2, and the Philadelphia Union 4-3 on May 13.

Laryea has two goals and two assists in nine games with Toronto FC this season. He scored in the 65th minute for Toronto FC in a 3-2 win over the Colorado Rapids on April 4, and in the 67th minute in a 3-3 tie with Austin FC on April 18.

The format for the 2026 MLS Cup is interesting. The MLS All-Stars will play all-stars from Liga MX in Mexico on July 29 from the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
