Buffalo Bills wide receiver Josh Palmer of Toronto, Ontario recorded his 11th career National Football League touchdown on Sunday in a 36-31 Bills win over the Houston Texans at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. For Palmer, this was not only his first NFL touchdown of the season, but his first touchdown with the Bills as he was unable to get into the end zone last season. Palmer’s other 10 NFL career touchdowns were with the Los Angeles Chargers from 2021 to 2024.
Palmer’s touchdown on Sunday was for 34 yards and came from 2024 NFL MVP Josh Allen. Palmer completed the scoring with one minute and 36 seconds left in the fourth quarter. At the time of the touchdown, the Bills were trailing the Texans 31-30. This was also Palmer’s only catch of the game.
Palmer now has 205 catches for 2624 receiving yards. This was his second game-winning NFL touchdown catch of his career. The first came on September 24, 2023 in a 28-24 Chargers win over the Minnesota Vikings.
The Bills were one of two teams in the AFC East to win over the weekend. The other team was the New York Jets, who beat the Tennessee Titans 23-10.
Buffalo now has a short turn around. That is because they play the Detroit Lions on Thursday night.
