
Canadian Football League free agency is now two weeks old. Here are four more players who have switched teams.
Johnny Augustine
The running back from Welland, Ontario signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Friday. He played the last five seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. In 2024, Augustine had 27 rushes for 125 rushing yards along with two rushing touchdowns. He also had three catches for 39 yards. Augustine won a Grey Cup with Winnipeg in 2019 and 2021.
Keaton Bruggeling
The wide receiver from St. Catherines, Ontario signed with the Tiger-Cats on Valentine’s Day. He played the last three seasons with the Ottawa Redblacks. In 2024, Bruggeling had two catches for 23 receiving yards. In three seasons, he has eight catches for 83 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Liam Dobson
The offensive lineman from Ottawa, Ontario signed with the Tiger-Cats on February 11. He played the last three seasons with the Blue Bombers, and was a first round pick (third overall) in the 2021 Canadian Football League Draft. Dobson was a CFL West All-Star in 2024.
Kerfalla-Emmanuel Exume
The defensive back from Montreal, Quebec signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on February 12. He had eight special teams tackles in 2024 with the Toronto Argonauts. Exume is joining his fourth CFL team. He previously played two seasons with the Blue Bombers (2019 and 2023), two seasons with the Montreal Alouettes (2021 and 2022), and one season with the Argonauts (2024). Exume won a Grey Cup with the Blue Bombers in 2019 and another Grey Cup with the Argonauts in 2024.
