Interestingly, the shorthanded goal and the game-winning goal came in the same game where Dalton registered her first career PWHL hat trick in a 6-3 Montreal win over Ottawa on Saturday. The shorthanded marker came from Kati Tabin of Winnipeg, Manitoba with one minute and 48 seconds left in the second period, and put Montreal up 2-1 at the time. Dalton’s game-winning goal came at 8:30 of the third period from Erin Ambrose of Keswick, Ontario, and Marie-Philip Poulin of Beauceville, Quebec, and put Montreal up 4-2 at the time.

For the season, Dalton has five goals and one assist for six points. She is a +5 with 17 shots on goal.

Dalton is part of a Montreal team that leads the PWHL at the moment. The franchise has a record of five wins, three overtime wins, three overtime losses, and two losses in extra time for 24 points. In the PWHL, you get three points for a regulation win, two points for an overtime win, and one point for an extra time loss.
