Henderson had six birdies and three bogeys in her score of -3. She birdied the first, fifth, eighth, 10th, 11th, and 16th holes, and bogeyed the second, 14th, and 18th holes.
Ten more golfers are under-par. American Lexi Thompson, China’s Shanshan Feng, and Yuka Saso of the Philippines are two strokes back at -2. There is also a seven-way tie for ninth place at -1 where you find Americans Marina Alex, Austin Ernst, Jennifer Kupcho, and Lauren Stephenson, along with South Korea’s Jin Young Ko and Jeongeun Lee6, and Thailand’s Wichanee Meechai.
