
The 11th week of the 2026 Canadian Football League regular season is now complete and three Canadians contributed to touchdowns for winning teams. They were British Columbia Lions quarterback Nathan Rourke of Victoria, British Columbia, Winnipeg Blue Bombers running back Brady Oliveira of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Tre Ford of Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Rourke completed 15 of 22 passes for 301 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception, along with three rushes for 39 rushing yards and another major score as the Lions defeated the Calgary Stampeders 30-26 at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, Alberta on Thursday. Rourke had an eight yard touchdown pass to Keon Hatcher, which put the Lions up 15-13 with one minute and 48 seconds left in the first half, a 10 yard touchdown run at 3:14 of the third quarter, which put the Lions up 20-18, and an 11 yard touchdown pass to Hatcher with two minutes and nine seconds left in the fourth quarter to complete the scoring. For the season, Rourke has completed 144 of 211 passes for 2074 passing yards, with nine touchdowns and six interceptions. He also has 10 rushes for 110 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
Oliveira had a five-yard touchdown run on Friday in a 33-21 Blue Bombers win over the Ottawa RedBlacks at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The touchdown put the Blue Bombers up 17-6 with 43 seconds left in the first half. Oliveira led the Blue Bombers in rushing yards (74) and receiving yards (80). For the season, he has 123 rushes for 732 rushing yards and four touchdown runs, along with 28 catches for 215 receiving yards and a touchdown catch. With the win, the Blue Bombers improved to a record of five wins and four losses and are in third place in the West Division.
Ford had a 41 yard touchdown pass to Keric Wheatfall on Saturday in a 26-19 Tiger-Cats win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Hamilton Stadium. The touchdown put the Tiger-Cats up 20-19 at 6:13 of the fourth quarter. Ford completed 13 of 17 passes for 151 passing yards, along with four rushes for 38 rushing yards. For the season, he has completed 61 of 90 passes for 650 passing yards, three touchdown passes and three interceptions, along with 25 rushes for 270 rushing yards.
