Here is Canada’s schedule for Monday in Paris at the 2024 Olympic Games. All eyes will be on Summer McIntosh in her quest for gold in the women’s 400 metre individual medley, where the Toronto teen has the world record. McIntosh had a time of 4:24.38 at the Canadian Olympic Swimming Trials in Toronto on May 16. McIntosh’s biggest rivals are American Katie Grimes (two-time silver medalist at the World Aquatics Championship) and 2024 World Champion Freya Colbert of Great Britain. The women’s 400m individual medley takes place at 12:30 pm MT.

Canada’s other great medal chance is in judo as Christa Deguchi of Lethbridge, Alberta is a medal favourite in the women’s 57 kilogram judo. She is a four-time medalist at the world championships (two gold, one silver and one bronze).
