Day 10 Preview of 2024 Olympics

We have one week left of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. There will be significant focus today on the women’s 3×3 basketball team as Canada will be seeking their first ever medal in the sport. Canada will play Germany in one of two semifinal games (Monday 10:30 AM MT). The other has the United States versus Spain (Monday 9:30 AM MT). The bronze medal game will then be at 1 pm MT, followed by the gold medal game at 2pm MT. The Canadian team contains twin sisters Michelle and Katherine Plouffe of Calgary, Alberta, Kacie Bosch of Lethbridge, Alberta, and Paige Crozon of Humboldt, Saskatchewan.

In beach volleyball, Canada will face the United States in round of 16 action, as Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson of Toronto, Ontario will play the American duo of Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss, the reigning bronze medalists from the World Beach Volleyball Championships in Tiaxcala, Mexico (Monday, 10 AM MT).
