Nick Taylor of Winnipeg, Manitoba is tied for 15th place at -1 and two strokes back of the leaders.
Conners had three birdies and one bogey. His birdies came on the ninth, 12th and 13th holes. Conners’s bogey came on the 15th hole.
Taylor had two birdies and one bogey. Taylor’s birdies came on the second and ninth holes, and his bogey came on the 17th hole.
There is a six-way tie for the lead at -3. There you can find Germans Martin Kaymer and Stephan Jaeger, South Africa’s Aldrich Potgieter, Australia’s Min Woo Lee, and Americans Scottie Scheffler and Alex Smalley.
Six other players are tied with Conners for second place. They are Americans Sahith Theegala, Max Greyserman, Patrick Reed and Xander Schauffele, England’s Daniel Brown, Ireland’s Shane Lowry.
Eighteen players are tied with Taylor at -1. They are Americans Ryan Gerard, Bud Cauley, Brooks Koepka, Maverick McNealy, Jordan Spieth, Andrew Novak, Andrew Putnam, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, Sam Stevens, and Chandler Blanchet, along with Germany’s Matti Schmid, Spain’s Jon Rahm, Denmark’s Nicolai Hojgaard, Chile’s Joaquin Niemann, South Africa’s Garrick Higgo, as well as Australia’s Cameron Smith and Jason Day.
Then there are 15 players at even par and three strokes back. Those are Americans Sam Burns, Brian Harman, Patrick Cantlay, Rickie Fowler, Michael Block, Kurt Kitayama, and J.J.
