Team Canada is now a perfect four wins and zero losses at the 2024 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Ostersund, Sweden. On Monday in Group B action, Canada defeated South Korea 6-4.

It was an impressive comeback for Canada, as the Canadian team of Kadriana and Colton Lott of Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba were once down 3-0 after the third end. However, they bounced back nicely with three points in the fourth end to tie the game and then stole two points in the fifth end to take control and the 5-3 lead. South Korea and Canada then shared single points with the hammer in the sixth and seventh ends to close out the game.

The South Korean team of Ji-yoon Kim and Byeong-jin Jeong dropped to a record of one win and three losses to date. Their only win came on Sunday when they beat Sophie Jackson and Duncan McFadzean of Scotland 6-4.

The Lotts are currently in a first place tie with Sweden in Group B. The Swedes are comprised of the brother-sister duo of Isabella and Rasmus Wrana. Canada will play Scotland and Sweden on Tuesday.

There is only team undefeated in Group A and that is the Switzerland team of Briar Schwaller-Hurlimann and Yannick Schwaller. Estonia was undefeated heading into Monday at 3-0, but lost 8-7 to Denmark in nine ends.
