Coronavirus continues to impact global sport. China has had to forfeit its match against France on Wednesday in the Philippines because they could not field a team of a minimum of six players due to multiple coronavirus cases. It will be interesting what will happen for the duration of the week and if China will be able to participate in their games against Germany, Argentina and Italy. During the 2022 Women’s Volleyball Nations League last week in the Philippines, spectators were wearing masks.
