The Winnipeg Jets are still alive in the 2025 National Hockey League Stanley Cup Playoffs. On Thursday, the Jets blanked the Dallas Stars 4-0 and in the process, won their second game of the series. However, Winnipeg still trails the Stars three games to two in the best out of seven series.

What we saw on Thursday was greatness from Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck, who made 22 saves. It was his second shutout of the series.

It was a strong game offensively for Mark Scheifele of Kitchener, Ontario. Schiefele had one goal and one assist for two points. Scheifele was one of five Jets players with a multi-point game. The other four were Nikolaj Ehlers (two goals), Vladislav Namestnikov (one goal and one assist for two points), Kyle Connor (two assists), and defenseman Neal Pionk (two assists).

In order for the Jets to win the series, they have to win one game on the road. Unfortunately for the Jets, they have been horrendous in the postseason in games played not in Winnipeg. The Jets have lost all five games away from the Manitoba capital city by a combined score of 25-8. The games have simply not been close. Game six is in Dallas on Saturday night.
