The Toronto Raptors came through with their most impressive comeback win of the season on Monday. Down 51-30 to the Orlando Magic with five minutes and 50 seconds left in the first half, the Raptors outscored the Magic 77-55 the rest of the way en route to a 107-106 win. This was the sixth biggest comeback in the National Basketball Association this season.

Seven Raptors reached double digits in scoring. Point guard Jamal Shead had 19 points, forward Brandon Ingram had 17 points, shooting guard Gradey Dick had 15 points, power forward Scottie Barnes and center Sandro Mamukelashvilli had 13 points each, and shooting guard Ochai Agbaji and shooting guard Ja’Kobe Walter had 10 points each.

It was a strong second half for the Raptors as they outscored the Magic 53-41. The Raptors also outscored the Magic 24-14 to end the second quarter.

The Raptors deserve high praise for their fourth quarter defense. Orlando only had five two-point field goals in 20 field goal  attempts. The Magic also missed all seven of their three point attempts. Their five starters were a combined -48. The Magic also had three turnovers and committed eight personal fouls.

With the win, the Raptors improved to a record of 20 wins and 14 losses. They had the fourth best record in the Eastern Conference. Toronto is currently behind the Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks and Boston Celtics.
