Packers sign cornerback Benjamin St-Juste

According to Rogers Sportsnet on Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers have signed cornerback Benjamin St-Juste of Montreal, Quebec to a two-year contract worth $10 million. The Packers are the third National Football league franchise that St-Juste has played for following four seasons with the Washington Commanders (2021 to 2024) and one season with the Los Angeles Chargers (2025).

In 16 games this past season for the Chargers, St-Juste had 37 combined tackles (22 solo tackles and 15 assisted tackles), seven pass deflections and one interception. The interception came in a 29-27 Chargers win over the Miami Dolphins on October 12.

In St-Juste’s career with the Commanders and Chargers, St-Juste has played in 70 games. He has 243 combined tackles (184 solo tackles and 59 assisted tackles), four tackles for a loss, four quarterback hits, two interceptions, 41 pass deflections, four forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and three sacks. The other interception came in a 24-16 Commanders win over the Atlanta Falcons on October 15, 2023. The fumble recovery came in a 36-33 Commanders win over the Philadelphia Eagles on December 22, 2024.

The Packers are coming off a second place finish in the NFC North. They had a regular season record of nine wins, seven losses and one tie for a winning percentage of .559. Despite a four game losing streak to end the regular season, the Packers made the postseason. In the NFC Wildcard game, the Packers lost 31-27 to the Chicago Bears.
