Two Canadian beach volleyball teams are still alive at the 2025 World Beach Volleyball Championships in Adelaide, Australia. On Tuesday, the Canadian women’s team of Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson of Toronto, Ontario defeated Valentyna Davidova and Anhelina Khmil of Ukraine 21-18, 21-12 in the round of 32. Meanwhile, Jonathan Pickett of Wiarton, Ontario and Samuel Schachter of North York, Ontario defeated Matthew Immers and Ruben Penninga of the Netherlands 21-18, 19-21, 15-9 in the Lucky Loser Playoff round.

In the win for Humana-Paredes and Wilkerson, Wilkerson had 23 points (21 attack points and two block points). Humana-Paredes had 11 points (seven attack points and four aces).
