
Kayle Osborne of Westport, Ontario is having an excellent Professional Women’s Hockey League season for the New York Sirens. On New Year’s Eve, Osborne recorded her third career PWHL shutout as the Sirens defeated the Vancouver Goldeneyes 2-0 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Osborne made 27 saves for the shutout. She had nine saves in the first period, 11 saves in the second period, and seven saves in the third period. Jenn Gardiner of Surrey, British Columbia and defenseman Sophie Jaques of Toronto, Ontario led the Goldeneyes with four shots in goal each.
In 2025-26, Osborne now has a record of five wins and five losses for a goals against average of 2.13 and a save percentage of .922. Osborne’s first PWHL shutout came on January 27, 2025 in a 3-0 Sirens win over the Ottawa Charge at Toronto Dominion Place in Ottawa, Ontario. Osborne’s second PWHL shutout came on November 22, 2025 in a 4-0 Sirens win over the Charge, also at TD Place.
The Sirens are currently tied for third place in the PWHL standings with 15 points. They have a record of five regulation losses and five losses in extra time. New York is tied in the standings with the Toronto Sceptres. They are four points back of the first place Boston Fleet, and one point back of the Minnesota Frost.
