
Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman has won his third career World Series. Freeman represents Canada internationally as both of his parents were born in Canada. In the 2025 World Series, the Dodgers beat the Toronto Blue Jays four games to three in the best out of seven series.
In the 2025 Major League Baseball postseason, Freeman batted .221 with two home runs and three runs batted in. During 17 games, 68 at bats, and 80 plate appearances, he scored seven runs and had 15 hits, five doubles, one stolen base, 10 walks, 26 total bases, an on base percentage of .338 and a slugging percentage of .382.
Freeman’s first postseason home run in 2025 came on October 13 in game one of the National League Championship Series, a 2-1 Dodgers win over the Milwaukee Brewers. Freeman put the Dodgers up 1-0 with a solo shot in the top of the sixth inning. Freeman’s second postseason home run in 2025 came this past Monday in a 6-5 Dodgers win over the Toronto Blue Jays in game three of the World Series. Freeman hit the game-winning home run in the bottom of the 18th inning. Also in game three of the World Series, Freeman had a stolen base. Freeman’s first World Series was with the Atlanta Braves in 2021, and his second World Series was with the Dodgers in 2024.
